Aluminum "V" bars on each side add strength and keep proper spacing between crates for airflow. Can also run a cable lock through them to secure the crate to your vehicle. Dimension below do NOT include the width of the V bars. The exterior width including the protrusions is an extra 2 1/2" more than what is shown below.
